WATCH FILMS AT JIFFEST

Similar to previous years, JiFFest 2008 applies a membership system to enable its screenings legally classified as non-commercial screenings. More importantly, audiences can easily secure seats to see films of their choice. No admission tickets are sold. Instead, viewers purchase or obtain membership cards and receive free passes for festival screenings. Due to high demands, we suggest our audiences to buy the membership card in advance to have a better chance of obtaining tickets for the films they want to see.

This year, the paid membership system is only applicable for WORLD CINEMA, and the rest categories are free. Each pass can be used for one-time screening. 

HOW TO WATCH FILMS AT JIFFEST

JiFFest audiences can choose from these types of membership: 

• WORLD CINEMA, membership fee of Rp. 20.000 for one membership card and one Yellow entry pass for one desired screening time. Please note that the price is also applicable for public screenings of Opening, Closing and Gala Premiere films.

• FREE SCREENINGS, no membership fee. Obtain one membership card and one Black-and-White entry pass for one desired screening time.

• The membership card and the Black-and-White entry pass for Free Screenings are distributed one hour before each screening time. Each person is allowed only one membership card and one Black-and-White entry pass. 

Win 1 (one) return ticket Jakarta-Hong Kong-Jakarta from Garuda Indonesia when you register for WORLD CINEMA! Write down your name and contact details at the back of the membership card. Drop the card after the end of each screening to our Info Desk in all JiFFest venues. Winners will be notified via phone or email based on the information given on the membership card. 

Membership Card Regulations: 

1. Membership Cards must be shown at the entrance to the cinema.

2. Membership is valid only for JiFFest 2008 and cannot be extended.


How to obtain a Membership Card:

a. Viewers fill out a membership form, which also serves as an order form for his or her choice of films. Note that the membership form is not applicable for FREE SCREENINGS.

b. Upon completion of the form, JiFFest registration staff will issue both the Membership Card and the Entry Pass as chosen.

The awareness on the environment

Events on human rights, which is an annual event 
Uplink organization as a network of poor people in fifteen cities, 
is a symbolic step to answer the question-pertanya an above. 
Symbolic action to maintain the purity sound conscience, action 
keep the candle of hope that is not extinct, and invocation to move 
changes to the life and noble with social justice, 
independence and people's welfare as the main pillars. 

The basic principles of events 

* The awareness on the environment - recycling and waste all pengomposan 
during the ceremony held; materials and equipment for food and beverages 
organic chemical substances unorganik free, clean and healthy; intensive work, with 
participation of citizens poor villages in the city; free of domination of capital 
* Inclusive: Activities for 6 days this will be followed by poor people 
the city of 15 knot UPLINK, individuals and groups mayarakat 
citizens (civil society), open for all to attend, participate, and 
work. 
* Share, learn, to create, recreation: 
o Morning-afternoon - workshops, exhibitions, bazaars people, training, learning together 
o Night days - performing arts
